The CHOPSTAR Rewind! Meet the Artist

Chopstar Rewind

KingVMA is back at it again with another Chopstar Concert! Saturday, June 4th in Burlington, North Carolina VMA and T Dub Management & Promotions hosted another KingVMA and Friends Chopstar Concert. Artists were offered packages that included; studio time with the illustrious Chophouze Studios, a free service from T Dub Management, an interview with the Winston Salem-based podcast, PinkTalk Podcast, and lastly, a sit down with us at Thrive Indie.

Below, we were able to catch up with Degragioh, Barton C, Yung Goddess, L.O.E 2Faxe, Bso Jefe, and 33.Trazy.

Yung Goddess

NC is chock-full of talented artists, however, very few stand out like this Carolina diva. Our first encounter with this rising star was at the BilliBossBabes Pop-up Shop & Music Showcase. She not only lit the stage on fire but claimed first place and the $300 cash prize it came with. On June 24th Goddess is hosting her ‘In My Bag’ release party. An event nobody in the Carolinas should miss!

Degragioh

Similar to Goddess, we are no stranger to this talented vixen. She is a special guest on our upcoming ThriveCast season 1.5! Though we had a chance to speak with her before this was our first time seeing her grace the stage. After her performance, it’s not hard to believe that she will be performing at this year’s BET Awards in Los Angeles!

B$O Jefe

We love meeting new artists! Though Jefe is not new to the game it was our first time meeting this rising star. A naturally good marketer and speaker, he had his brand on full display at the Chopstar Concert. The only artists we saw giving out their Merch outside and inside while constantly networking. His EP ‘Bo$$ of All Bosses’ is one of our favorite projects by an indie artist released this year.

Barton C

Another new artist for us. He dominated the stage with greater energy and even better bars. Putting it in perspective, he is really just getting started. His project ‘Vindicated Volume 2’ dropping in August of this year is something we at Thrive Indie will be waiting to hear.

L.O.E 2Faxe

33 Trazy

Just recently released from jail 33 Trazy has decided to take his life in a new direction. This was his first-ever performance and he has yet to officially release a song. A rare strategy but performing is an underrated art in today’s industry. If this young up-and-comer can stay focused and keep the same energy he had at the concert, he could very well be NCs next big talent.
